Um Performance Products has developed a line of skid plates to accommodate many race teams competing in the “Best of the Desert” race series. UM Skid Plates have been proven to withstand the brutal conditions found in desert racing. This skid plate is made up from high quality 3/16 inch (.190cm) thick 5052 aircraft aluminum giving you maximum protection without the added weight. The Rear Skid Plate protects the sprocket (chain) and rear brake rotor from rocks and other damaging objects that may cut your day of riding short.
